- To protect the service, prevent abuse, fix errors and comply with legal obligations.
Legal bases
We process data to provide the service you request, comply with legal obligations, protect our legitimate interest in keeping the app secure and reliable, and, where required, based on your consent. You can revoke health, notification, camera and photo-library permissions in your device settings.
Service providers and data recipients
Depending on the features used, cloud, authentication, storage, notification, analytics, payment and AI providers may process the data needed on Fuelia's behalf. When you enable AI features, an external cloud artificial-intelligence provider receives only the input and relevant context needed to generate the response. Fuelia does not sell personal data or use this content for advertising.
AI features and consent
AI features are enabled only after an explicit choice in the app. You may decline or withdraw consent under Profile without losing non-AI features. Avoid entering unnecessary sensitive data or another person's content.
Website, analytics and cookies
With your consent, the public Fuelia website uses Google Analytics 4 to measure page views, general website usage and interactions with download or language links. Website analytics may include a pseudonymous browser identifier, page path, approximate location, browser and device information and interaction events. Fuelia does not deliberately send meal names, nutrition data, health values, email addresses or free-form personal text from the website.
Analytics is disabled by default and the Google tag is not loaded until you accept it. Advertising storage, advertising user data, ad personalization and Google Signals are disabled. You can reject analytics or withdraw your consent at any time through “Cookie preferences” in the footer. See the Cookie Policy for cookie details and retention periods.
The mobile app separately uses analytics tools to understand feature use and service reliability. Its events may include a technical app user identifier, device and app-version information, language, subscription tier and feature interaction events, but are designed not to contain meal names, photos, health values or free-form personal text.
Security and international transfers
Fuelia uses access controls, encrypted network connections, app integrity checks and restricted access permissions appropriate to the service. No system is completely secure. Some providers may process data outside your country; where required, transfers rely on an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another lawful safeguard.
Health and nutrition notice
Fuelia is not a medical device and does not replace a doctor, dietitian or nutritionist. Calorie, macro and activity estimates may be inaccurate. Do not use Fuelia for diagnosis, treatment or urgent medical decisions.
Retention and deletion
Account and app data remain while needed for the service or while the account is active. AI responses and related technical metadata may remain for up to 7 days; AI reports for up to 30 days. Logs, purchases, legal duties and protected backups may require different periods. You can reset data or delete the account in the app or follow the account deletion page.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent where applicable. Contact fuelia.app@gmail.com. You may also contact the competent data protection authority.
Children
Fuelia is not intended for children below the minimum age required by applicable law or app-store rules. If you believe a child provided data without proper authorization, contact us.
Changes
We may update this policy to reflect product, legal or operational changes. The current version is published on this page.
